Fire Stations

> FIRE DEPARTMENTSAs if your job isn’t dangerous enough, contaminated protective gear exposes firefighters to potentially life-threatening chemicals, biological agents and particulate matter. Industry experts have agreed that highly programmable washer-extractors are key to washing gear correctly and in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). After all, dirty gear is a health hazard.

Our washer-extractors come equipped with soap compartments to manually add your cleaning products and with the option for automatic chemical injection, dispensing the right type and amount of detergents with every wash, and programmable extract-speeds; both features make for a more effective decontamination process without damage to protective fabrics. The washers are easy to operate. Once the programs are set it’s just a matter of choosing your cycle, adding your soap if using the manual soap compartments and pressing start, the machine does the rest. Our soft mount washers are designed for easy installation in a truck bay, utility room or storage area. With capacities from 20lbs – 90lbs we can accommodate any size station. If you need to turn your gear around quickly we offer compact yet efficient gear dryers. Units come standard with steel stickmen, noise reduction package and casters. After your done drying the gear it can be pushed out of the way when not in use. Models 4-MU, 4-IHT, and 6-MU come with removable multipurpose blower and electronic timer.
