Correctional Facilities Laundry Equipment

Once an inmate reports to a correctional facility, his/her personal items are collected. We offer an option where the items are stored in an assigned locker bag and stored, out of the way, on a garment storage conveyor system. Each system is custom designed for each individual facilities specifications, total inmates and space available. We have systems that can handle up to 150lbs per foot. The system assigns the inmate a slot number and then the items are automatically recalled once that inmate is released from jail.

Correctional Facilities have a myriad of concerns when it comes to doing laundry, including inmate safety, inventory and fabric longevity and productivity. Our commercial laundry equipment is gentle on inventory such as blankets and sheets; programmable to handle a variety of items, including inmates’ personals and rugged mop heads; and is equipped to handle hundreds of pounds of incoming laundry each day. Since inmates often operate the laundry equipment, our equipment is designed to be easy to use and offers lock-out safety features.
